Update: Does the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE make sense?

It's already November, and fans are losing hope that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be released. However, it seems that this fading hope has been given an injection of endorphins.

In a video uploaded by YouTube channel Concept Creator, Dutch digital artist Jermaine Smit is known for creating 3D renderings of upcoming electronics based on leaked information. This is in line with past rumors, with a design reminiscent of the current Samsung Galaxy S21, but made of plastic. If true, fans who have been waiting should be able to get their hands on a solid kit as soon as possible.

According to Smit, the S21 FE will be available in violet, pink, white, and black, along with IP68 water resistance, a Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display, full HD resolution, and a 120 Hz refresh rate Smit also said, "The S21 FE will be available in a variety of colors, including violet, pink, white, and black. Tom's Guide has not been able to independently confirm Smit's claims.

Smit also claims that more S21 FE internal parts will be coming in, including the camera module. Once these parts come in, a deeper analysis can be made as to what parts are included and what they mean for the final product.

As for the overall design, Smit is pleased with the appearance of the back panel. He actually likes it better than the standard S21. It has a flatter, more subdued look, and the plastic allows the camera bump to flow seamlessly into the rest of the back panel.

Smit also acknowledges that Samsung may cancel this device altogether. The scheduled release date is close to that of the next-generation S22. And if Samsung were to release both devices very close together, it could cannibalize the hype that each could generate. The S22 is currently rumored to be released in the first couple of months of next year.

At the end of the video above, Smit shows off some of his own 3D renderings, and we have to admit that it looks slick, as the S21 FE could be a serious competitor to the Google Pixel 6 once it appears.
