Director Zack Snyder has revealed the title of Army of the Dead 2. The news comes just days before "Army of Thieves" is set to be released on Netflix.

He told Inverse that the film is titled Planet of the Dead. And after "Army of the Dead" is over, there is "a chance" that "Dieter will survive" the moment zombie Zeus attacks the vault door, he said. Nevertheless, that survival is more likely than probable, as Snyder later says, "It's possible that facing death has made him want to find Gwendolyn in prison." [Because at the end of Army of the Dead, we saw Vanderhohe (Omari Hardwick) escape a nuclear explosion and board a plane. That plane may have looked super safe and charted a course for Mexico City, but as any horror fan knows, nothing ends well in the first horror movie. Bandeloe discovers a bite mark on his arm, which must have been caused by Zeus in the bank vault.

This makes Vanderhohe an alpha zombie, which starts a zombie epidemic in Mexico and spreads the outbreak across the planet.

And it is speculated that Dieter may run into the zombie Vanderhohe at Planet of the Dead.

There will also be an anime-style show on Netflix titled Army of the Dead: Las Vegas. It is a prequel to "Army of the Dead" and will feature Scott Ward (Dave Bautista), Kate Ward (Ella Purnell), Maria Cruz (Ana de la Reguera), Marianne Peters (Tig Notaro), and Vandeloe from before "Army of the Dead". The film depicts the success of the project.

But the series has more star power than that: according to Deadline, Joe Manganiello, Christian Slater, and Vanessa Hudgens are in the cast, along with Anya Charotra, Monica Barbaro, Jena Malone, and Nolan North

The film is also starring.

The film focuses on Scott's origins and the first moments of the zombie outbreak that hit Las Vegas.
