Oculus Quest Pro may have leaked in a new video - here's your first look

It's been a while since we heard anything about the Oculus Quest Pro, which Facebook claims will be available long before the Oculus Quest 3.

The video was posted by user @Basti564, who posted what appears to be a series of marketing promos for the new Oculus headset along with a download link. They are videos that appear to show off the headset's design and possibly confirm some of the rumored features.

The design of the headset is slightly different from the Oculus Quest 2, with a more goggle-inspired design and a crest that bears little resemblance to that of the PSVR. The first video (above) shows a user customizing the appearance of her avatar, which in itself is not that impressive. What is noteworthy, however, is that she scrolls through everything without the aid of a controller, and the headset appears to respond to her facial expressions.

In other words, it seems to confirm that the Oculus Quest Pro will have plenty of external sensors to keep it aware of everything you are doing.

There are also two videos of the headset being used in more professional environments, and several new smaller controllers are introduced in terms of user collaboration (something Facebook has long promoted).

So while Quest Pro appears to have body tracking capabilities, it should have some kind of controller for those who need it. Perhaps it would be for tasks that require a bit more precision, which only the sensors built into the controller can provide.

The fourth video shows off the now VR classic "Beat Saber," confirming that Pro in Oculus Quest Pro does not necessarily mean professional. There is still room for fun with friends.

Of course, being unverified leaks, there is no way to say how reliable these videos really are; until Facebook confirms what we can expect from the Oculus Quest Pro, we should remain skeptical about everything we see here.

However, with Facebook Connect taking place this weekend, October 28, hopefully we won't have to wait too long to find out.
