How to Watch DC Fandome2021 Online Today — What You Should Know

It's time to look at DC Fandome 2021 online! Yes, there is a lot of news about comic book characters, but seeking out new information is not as technically easy as it was last year. And the onus is on DC itself. Unlike last year, DC has been more cautious about its attack strategy, essentially turning DC Fandome into a version of Nintendo Direct.

To quote DC's own Fandome FAQ, "While the entire schedule of events is tightly controlled in a fortress of solitude, we have a multiverse of amazing content and announcements that we can't wait to share with you!" . That said, we know when and how to channel DC Fandom 2021, what films and show updates to expect (and sometimes what content to screen), and even the duration of the event. That's why we've set up the DC Fandom Live Blog to bring you live reactions to the event.

DC Fandome starts today, Saturday, October 16, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. ET/6 p.m. ET, and DC says the streaming will run for about four hours, so if you're overdue, it may not end until 5 p.m. ET. If it runs over time, it may not be over by 5:00 PM JST. We have blocked our calendars until 5:15 PM EST.

So we recommend that you be on one of several different sites or streams at that time. There is DCFandome.com if you want to watch the live feed directly, but not so good if you want to watch it on TV, etc.

DC's YouTube page will host the stream embedded below, as well as DC's official Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter feeds. You can choose whichever you prefer. However, it is best to avoid Facebook and Twitter, as they always provide live streams with low video quality.

The biggest news from DC Fandome seems to be the next trailer for the 2022 film "Batman," directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne. In the last trailer (released at DC Fandome last August), we learned that the movie is set in Bruce Wayne's younger, more formative years - about two years after he became Batman. It also teased a very dark Riddler, played by Paul Dano, and gave glimpses of Selina Kyle/Catwoman, played by Zoe Kravitz, and Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin, played by Colin Farrell. There also seemed to be a preview of a Joker-esque gang.

There is also a "first look" at Black Adam, played by Dwayne Johnson, and a sneak peak of The Flash destroying the universe. Will we see Michael Keaton in bat form in the latter? We hope so.

Behind-the-scenes looks at "Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom" and "Shazam" will also be shown! Behind the scenes of "Wrath of the Gods" will also be revealed.

On the HBO Max side, the series "Peacemaker" starring John Cena and a sneak peek of "Harley Quinn" Season 3 will be shown.

Also promised are updates to "Batman: Gotham Knights" and "Suicide Squad" as well as a game: "Take down the Justice League.
