The stunning Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra concept looks like the next Galaxy Note

Of Samsung's Galaxy S22 lineup to debut next year, the Galaxy S22 Ultra may be the successor to the Galaxy Note line.

We've already seen rumors that the S22 Ultra will have a built-in stylus, eliminating the need to purchase a separate S Pen. And now, new renderings show what the design will look like, with flatter edges and a new camera layout.

Created by Parvez Khan of Technizo Concept and shared by Dutch blog Let's Go Digital, the design features the same number of lenses and sensors that rumors have suggested for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Only in this case, the designer opted for two separate camera islands, with the laser AF sensor and the second telephoto lens placed in separate bands.

This is a much more minimalist look than the P-shaped blocks seen in other Galaxy S22 renderings. And frankly, I think it's pretty much in line with what Samsung has accomplished with the Galaxy S21 lineup.

One of the design highlights of the S21 was a contour-cut design that blends the camera array into the side of the phone. This made the camera array feel more seamless and integrated into the overall look of the phone; a P-shaped island would have spoiled that effort, but the separate strips in the Technizo Concept's design are a little less incongruous.

Let's Go Digital reported that there is one more consideration in favor of this approach: the S21 Ultra weighed 8.08 ounces, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have an S Pen, another rumor associated with the upcoming flagship This is not an insignificant consideration, given that it may have to make room for the S Pen.

Technizo's concept video displays an S Pen holster as well as another rumored feature that is said to be coming to the Galaxy S22 lineup, a front-facing under-display camera. the Galaxy Z Fold 3's under display camera on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was disappointing, and there was some debate as to whether Samsung would go this route with the S22 series.

As for the Galaxy S22 Ultra's rear camera, it is rumored to be an improved version of the 108MP main camera on the Galaxy S21 Ultra (not the 200MP sensor that was previously rumored). the S21 Ultra's 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter and 10MP telephoto No word on possible improvements to the lenses (one with 3x zoom, the other with 10x zoom). Samsung is reportedly focusing on software improvements for the S22 camera, which is noted for its continuous zoom feature that reduces the need for digital adjustments.

Ultimately, we are still waiting for a more official announcement on what the Galaxy S22 Ultra will look like ahead of its release next year; neither the P-shaped camera module nor Technizo Concept's independent island approach have nailed what Samsung's next flagship has not been nailed down to become the next flagship. But if it comes down to these two designs, we know which one we want.
