We're off to the race site today to watch the Chicago Marathon (you can also watch online). More than 35,000 runners will take off from the starting line of the 43rd annual Chicago Marathon in Grant Park.

The 26.2-mile race meanders through 29 Chicago neighborhoods, but if you don't live local enough to stand on the sidewalk and cheer, we've got your back.

The Chicago Marathon will start at 7:20 a.m. Japan time with the men's wheelchair race. Of course, the elite men's and women's races will be in the first wave, so if you want to watch the elite races, get your coffee and breakfast ready to watch at 7:30 AM.

The elite field has undergone some changes over the past few days, with 14 elite runners withdrawing from the race and 17 added. Nevertheless, Dixon Chumba, Ruben Kipyego, and Kengo Suzuki will be on the men's line, along with Galen Rupp, who will be racing in front of his home crowd in what should be an exciting race. Ruth Chepungetich is the fastest of the women, but will face stiff competition from Vivian Kiplagat and Sarah Hall.

If you are looking for runners in a mass participation race, it is a good idea to check with your runners in advance as Wave 1 starts at 7:30 AM, Wave 2 at 8:00 AM, and Wave 3 at 8:35 AM. The Chicago Marathon will be broadcast live on NBC 5 Chicago, Telemundo Chicago and TeleXitos on Sunday.
