. New wheels complete the imposing look of the car and will be available as 20- or 22-inch options.

Central to the Model X Plaid's arrival is a revamped seven-passenger interior that is more impressive than ever. Perhaps the most prominent feature is the steering wheel, which is no longer the usual circular one. Instead, it is like the one found on an aircraft, and Tesla has also eliminated the stalks normally present for the lights and wipers.

On the other hand, if the yoke-style steering column first catches your eye, you'll soon head in the direction of the 17-inch infotainment display. This burly screen can be adjusted to suit the front seat occupants who use it.

Rear seat occupants are also catered to in the infotainment department, with another 8-inch screen located in the rear of the vehicle. Tesla has designed the system so that occupants can enjoy wireless gaming wherever they sit in the car.

There is also Bluetooth, wireless charging, USB-C charging, 22 speakers, and a 960-watt audio system. As for seating, the Tesla Model X Plaid can be configured to seat five, six, or seven passengers, depending on requirements.

The Tesla Model X Plaid offers a premium driving experience while also featuring a dazzling array of technology and safety features from the automaker. The new and improved interior boasts a 2200x1300 resolution screen, but before we get to that, let's not forget that this is a car with automatic front doors that open and close under power. Rear seat passengers, on the other hand, are provided with Falcon Wing doors for easy entry and exit.

The Tesla Model X Plaid will not be available until next year, but there have been recent sightings of the refreshed car. According to video footage circulating on the web, the model in question also features a distinctive yoke steering wheel, a new instrument cluster and infotainment display. On the exterior, it also appears to have newly designed wheels and black trim elements.

While Tesla continues to struggle to keep up with demand, the Model X Plaid's arrival date could well be delayed. U.S. orders were originally expected to begin arriving by the end of this year, but the reality is that pre-orders could begin appearing in the first half of 2022.
