Google Pixel 6 Price and release date Just Tipped into Retailer Leak

The Google Pixel 6 will be officially unveiled at Google's Pixel event on October 19, but one retailer appears to be leaking important details early.

As reported by 9to5Google, the Pixel 6's price and release date have reportedly been confirmed in a German retailer's ad. It's a bit complicated, but apparently the starting price for the Pixel 6 will be €649, according to a promotional booklet from retailer Saturn.

This rumor is consistent with previous reports surrounding the Pixel 6 price. For comparison, the regular iPhone 13 in Germany starts at €899 for the 128GB model, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at €1,250.

We have also heard from previous leaks that the Google Pixel 6 will be priced at $749 in the US, which is cheaper than the $799 iPhone 13. Unfortunately, the ad does not mention pricing for the Pixel 6 Pro, but we have heard that it could be €899 in Europe and $1049 or $1099 in the U.S.

Interestingly, a German retailer's promotion offers a €199 discount from October 19 to October 27 Those who pre-order the model by October 19 through October 27 will receive a fresh set of Bose Noise Cancelling headphones 700. This suggests that the official launch date for the Pixel 6 could be October 27.

The Google Pixel 6 is getting a lot of buzz because it is Google's first Android phone with its own custom Tensor chip. This SoC should provide AI, computational photography, and a wide range of tasks for the Pixel 6 series. Basically, Google is dumping Qualcomm and trying to control its own destiny to make the best Android phones.

According to a Google Pixel 6 spec leak earlier this week, the Pixel 6 will feature a 6.4-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, dual-lens rear camera with 50MP and 12MP lenses, 8MP selfie cam, 4,614 mAh battery, up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage are expected.

The Pixel 6 Pro will reportedly feature a 6.71-inch OLED 120Hz display, a 5,000mAh battery, a 12MP selfie cam, up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is also expected to have a triple rear camera with 50MP, 12MP, and 48MP lenses and 4x zoom.

It will be a little while before Google officially announces all the details, but until then, visit the Google Pixel 6 hub for the latest leaks and rumors for the big Pixel event.
