The Samsung Galaxy S22 may arrive later in 2022 than expected, with the latest information suggesting that Samsung's new Galaxy could arrive in late February.

This is according to SamMobile, which reports that the Galaxy S22 will appear on February 28 and will be showcased at the Galaxy Unpacked event just before next year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. If you're feeling nostalgic, that's because Samsung has done this in the past.

However, Samsung's Galaxy S21 was announced in January of this year, so if the Galaxy S22 is to appear after the end of February, it will effectively delay the scheduled release date; we cannot confirm SamMobile's source, so take this with a grain of salt.

According to previous leaks and rumors, it makes sense to delay the Galaxy S22 launch, and it appears that the next flagship Galaxy phone will be a significant upgrade over the previous model.

We are expecting an improved camera with up to 200MP sensor and the rumored Exynos 2200, which is expected to include graphics processing from AMD to give it a serious GPU boost. Three models are expected: standard, Plus, and Ultra. And quite oddly, all models are said to have slightly smaller displays.

Furthermore, while the Galaxy Note may seem dead, Samsung is rumored to be incorporating the best Note features like the S Pen into the Galaxy S22 Ultra. In effect, the Note will survive through the S series, and Samsung may focus its mid-year phones on foldable phones.

Thus, the Galaxy S22's later-than-expected arrival will give Samsung more time to create a killer smartphone group.
