The Google Pixel 6 Pro has not yet been officially announced, but a large number of camera samples have already appeared online. These images and videos are the first to show the device's upgraded shooter in action.

The Pixel 6 series will feature a main sensor and an ultra-wide-angle camera, while the Pro model will add a telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom A new video on YouTube shows these features in action. [M. Brandon Lee, who runs the YouTube channel known as This is Tech Today, managed to obtain both images and videos purportedly taken with the Google Pixel 6 Pro before its launch. The video showcasing these camera samples also includes some new images of the device itself.

Now, the images are not of the highest quality; Lee emphasizes that these were not taken by a professional photographer. Unfortunately, the images were shot in portrait mode, which shows some rather boring locations and objects. Nevertheless, it is a first glimpse of what shooting with the Google Pixel 6 Pro is like. [This is in line with another leak that suggested that the main camera on both Pixel 6 models will feature a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor.

The Google Pixel 6 has yet to make a big unveiling, but we already know a great deal about the device, including its focus on widgets and bulky design. However, the confirmation that the Pixel 6 will be Google's first device with its own chipset has caught our attention.

The killer feature of the Google Pixel 6 is set to be the new Tensor chip. According to the leaked spec sheet, it will rival the unannounced Snapdragon 870 in terms of performance. Additionally, the Tensor chipset is heavily focused on AI and machine learning. For example, the chip's processing unit can sharpen blurry images and can also recognize speech almost instantly.

It is currently unknown when we will be able to get our hands on the Google Pixel 6 series ourselves, but the devices are rumored to be available on October 19, ready for release at the end of the month.
