With Deshaun Watson's legal issues still pending, the Texans named Tyrod Taylor their starting quarterback before the season. Taylor is currently on IR after injuring his hamstring in the second quarter (31-21) of last week's game against the Browns. Davis Mills will now be the Texans' starting quarterback. Mills (3rd round rookie) made his first NFL start against the Browns, completing 8 of 18 passes for 108 yards, a touchdown, one interception, and a 58.1 passer rating.

The Panthers are still a big road favorite with an 8-point edge against the Texans in Houston. The over/under is 43.
