Probst said this season is shorter, 26 days versus the usual 39. It's a very fast pace," he states in the teaser video. The players have to make bigger decisions. So there will be new advantages and controversial developments.

The changes include: no more rice rations distributed to tribes. And with less rewarding challenges, players will be able to function on much less food than in previous times. With other new innovations, "Survivor 41" is shaping up to be a brutal and fun season.
