How to Watch Microsoft Surface Event 2021

Microsoft's Surface product lineup is definitely overdue for a proper refresh. Already this year, Microsoft's Surface Laptop 4 debuted, but did little to move the needle on Redmond's laptop design. The Surface Pro 7 Plus also lacked meaningful upgrades or under-the-hood tweaks.

However, Windows 11 is expected to be released on October 5, and with it a slew of Windows 11-compatible devices. Most notably, Microsoft is expected to get a head start on Windows 11 with a variety of new Surface devices at a virtual event this Wednesday, September 22.

We expect to see new products like the Microsoft Surface Pro 8, Surface Book 4, and potentially the Surface Duo 2. With that in mind, here's how to watch the Microsoft Surface Event 2021.

The Microsoft Surface Event 2021 will take place on Wednesday, September 22 at 8:00 am PT / 11:00 am ET / 4:00 pm BST and will be live streamed.

You will be able to access the live stream on Microsoft's website and you will be able to watch the event on Microsoft Surface YouTube. We will also be live blogging the event.

Here's what to expect from Microsoft's Surface event: based on the leaks and rumors so far, we expect the Surface Pro 8 will likely be announced, bringing a new design and better specs, including access to AMD processors We would like to see it. It could also feature a significantly different design inspired by the Surface Studio's easel-like aesthetic.

While we do not expect to see a new Surface Studio or a new Surface Laptop, we do expect to see the Surface Duo 2, which has the sleek but flawed design of the original Surface Duo.

Speaking of smart designs, the Surface Pro X was an interesting ARM-based Windows 10 tablet, but we are not so sure that a new version will be announced at this event. This is because we have not seen many leaks or rumors about such a device, and we feel that Microsoft may be moving away from producing its own ARM version of Windows devices.

Other content will probably delve more deeply into Windows 11, along with tidbits about how Windows 11 will run on various PCs and potential partner machines from Asus, Dell, Acer, Lenovo, etc. It is expected.

In short, we can expect a good range of Surface and Windows 11-based products and updates from Microsoft; the return of the Surface Neo would not be the worst thing, but it would not be a massive surprise.
