It's a new day, a new time to watch "The Morning Show" Season 2 on Apple TV Plus. Set in the cutthroat world of television news, the drama brings Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, and Billy Claddap back to the screen.

"The Morning Show" follows the cast and crew of a news broadcast that is a fictionalized version of "The Today Show" and "Good Morning America." In the first season, co-host Alex Levy (Aniston) is horrified when fellow anchor Mitch Kessler (Carell) is fired by the UBA network for alleged sexual harassment. As his replacement, UBA executive Corey Ellison (Claddap) brings in hot-headed local news reporter Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon). But he gets more than he bargained for when Bradley begins to investigate the circumstances of Mitch's departure.

"The Morning Show" Season 2 picks up where the finale left off, with Alex and Bradley exposing UBA and network president Fred Miklen for being complicit in Mitch's sexual misconduct and creating a toxic work environment. Alex left her anchor position, but as the show is in turmoil, Cory begs her to return.

Season 2 adds a fresh cast, including Julianna Margulies as UBA's news anchor, Hasan Minhaj as the new morning show host, Greta Lee as a tech mogul turned UBA executive, and Holland Taylor as a UBA executive.
