Anticipation is building ahead of next week's Apple event, but Apple may have accidentally revealed that more announcements will follow this fall.

According to the Hashflag Browser (via AppleInsider), #AppleEvent hashflags (icons that companies can pay to add to relevant hashtags) are paid until the beginning of December. This seems to suggest that Apple paid to use the tag at multiple events.

The Hashflag Browser, developed by Jane Manchun Wong, displays images, associated tags, and expiration dates of valid hashflags on Twitter. As shown below, those for #AppleEvent are valid from September 7 through December 6; according to AppleInsider, previous Apple hashflags, such as the one used to promote WWDC earlier this year, lasted only a week or two.

All that is certain at this point is that Apple will hold a special event next week on September 14. Perhaps Apple is just hoping that this September event is so exciting that Twitter users will be talking about it until the New Year. But based on previous rumors that Apple intends to hold more events, it seems plausible.

A few weeks ago, DigiTimes reported that Apple "will hold a series of product launch conferences in September." This was related to an earlier report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, which claimed that Apple would hold multiple events in the fall, with no specific mention of September.

Based on the timing we assume that the September 14 event would see the launch of the iPhone 13. We also expect the new Apple Watch 7 and AirPods 3 to be announced at the same time.

However, there are still many rumors of new Apple devices that should be ready by the end of the year, including the iPad mini 6 and iPad 9, as well as the new 14-inch M1 chip-based MacBook Pro 2021 and 16-inch MacBook Pro.

If all of these devices are to be launched in 2021, then a second iPad-focused event in October and a MacBook-focused launch in November, around the same time as the MacBook Air M1 and MacBook Pro M1 appeared last year, for a total of three There is even a possibility that an event will be held.

Whatever happens later this year, there is no doubt that the iPhone 13 will be announced next week. Rumors suggest that it will feature some interesting upgrades, including a new A15 chip, an upgraded camera lens, and new portrait video and astrophotography modes. It is also believed that the notch will be smaller for the first time since Apple introduced Face ID, and the two Pro models will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display.
