Warner Pictures took the tripping, mind-melting idea from the movie "The Matrix" and launched a new site today. Frankly, the site is both cool and annoying at the same time. First, you have to remember which pill is the right pill (it's the red pill).

Then you have to watch the clips in a very sensitive video player that takes you back to the beginning if you make a wrong click. The video knows the time in your area, which is very cool (and does other things I'll discuss later).

I tried to "break" the site because its convoluted nature bothered me, plus the drug image below looked like an edgy crypto ad. I also wanted to press pause and skip over it to get a really clear picture of Keanu Reeves as Neo above. Neo is really starting to look like John Wick.

First, I made the video full screen, right clicked on the video, and selected open in a new tab. That's how I got this link. The time shown on this link is not the time on your device, but the time when I tried to view the clip.

I then discovered that the site does more than just change the time. Each time you play it, you get a glimpse of different scenes. So I guess my trick is just enough to see Neo, and for more glimpses, you can watch the Warner-style trailer.

According to EW, there are over 180,000 variations of the video, so let the legions of Matrix fans online have the pleasure of piecing them together. I wish I could show you all the clips of the trailers pieced together, but that seems to be sketchy territory, and I'm sure I'll have to wrangle with Warner's legal team.

I'm just waiting for Thursday, when Warner says the full trailer will be released:
