A trio of stars form an unlikely constellation in "Only Murderers in the Building," now available online on Hulu. The comedy stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez as neighbors obsessed with a real-life podcast.

Charles (Martin), Oliver (Short), and Mabel (Gomez) are strangers living in the same luxury Manhattan apartment building. Charles is a recently separated former TV star; Oliver is an unsuccessful Broadway director. And Mabel is a bit of an enigma, as her artistic taste and young age do not match her life in the luxury apartment.

They all come together after learning of their neighbor's death. Unconvinced by the police's ruling of suicide, the three new amigos decide to investigate on their own and, naturally, make their own podcast about it.

The show was created by Martin and collaborator John Hoffman. Martin and Short have worked together for many years in films such as Father of Bride and The Three Amigos, as well as on stage. Gomez first came to prominence on the Disney Channel before becoming a successful singer.

The first three episodes of "Only Murderers in the Building" are available on Hulu.

It premieres on Tuesday, August 31 at 12:00 a.m. ET. The remaining seven episodes will be available every Tuesday.
