Umbrella Academy Season 3 may have just finished filming

Filming for "Umbrella Academy" Season 3 has wrapped, according to a cinematographer working on the Netflix series. This coincides with a recent update from star Elliott Page, who hinted that production on "Umbrella Academy" Season 3 is "almost done."

Filming began on February 7, and in the days and weeks following, cast members began posting photos from the set on social media. Several set photos from Toronto were also leaked to Twitter.

Early Thursday morning, Craig Wroblewski shared an image of a warehouse door marked "2." The caption reads: "... Umbrella Academy Season 3 days left."

Page shared some set photos early in production, but slowed down in recent months-perhaps because he got busy, perhaps to avoid spoilers. Last week, however, he posted a selfie on Instagram with the caption: "Mornin ☀️ . .almost done ? S3 ☂."

Not much is known about Umbrella Academy Season 3, including its release date. We do know that the story will take place in an alternate universe/timeline, with the Hargreaves siblings' adoptive father taking in a completely different set of special children and naming them Sparrow Academy. Ben (Justin H. Ming) is the only link between the Umbrella and Sparrow teams, but his character is completely different.

We also know the episode titles, which Netflix revealed during its Geek Week distribution this past June. In order:

Season 3 will feature a number of new characters, including other members of the Sparrow Academy. Justin Cornwell as Marcus, Britton Oldford as Faye, Jake Epstein as Alfonso, Genesis Rodriguez as Sloane, and Kazee David as Jamie have been cast.

With filming completed, "Umbrella Academy" may release a teaser trailer or some sort of sneak peek video in the near future!
