Giants running back Saquan Barkley is still recovering from last season's torn ACL and is not expected to play in this game. For this game, the Giants reinforced former Philadelphia Eagle Corey Clement and acquired Sandro Platzgemer from Austria. Clement carried the ball well against the Jets last week, but fumbled the ball near the goal line. Platzgumer looked strong for the G-men and broke free on a 48-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Coach Stefanski announced on Friday that most of his starters would miss today's game, including Baker Mayfield. Mayfield also missed last week's game against the Jaguars. The Browns will likely have Case Keenum starting again. The Giants started Mike Glennon last week against the Jets. The starter, Daniel Jones, may actually get a few starts since teammate and third-string quarterback Clayton Thorson was placed on Injured Reserve with a concussion.

The Browns host the Giants as 4.5-point favorites. The over/under is 35 points.
