Meanwhile, Team USA beat Australia (which had won the qualifier) 97-78. In this match, the U.S. had a big third quarter, outscoring Australia 32-10.

But Team USA knows it has to work hard on defense. Devin Booker told the press, "Defense, that's what matters. That's what we talked about in the locker room. Offense is just the beginning. We have a lot of talent, but we have to be on the same page on defense."
