Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser Revealed — and 2022 Release

Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser Revealed — and 2022 Release

We've been waiting for the release date of "Stranger Things" Season 4, and Netflix has finally delivered: ...... It looks like. In a new teaser caption shared online, Netflix revealed that "Stranger Things is coming back in 2022."

Yes, we don't yet have a specific release date or time frame. Instead, we just got the broad scope of 2022. So what's the biggest news of note here? It is "hair."

As you can see above and below, the trailer is mostly about the past. Fireworks, scared and worried children, monsters taking over the mall. And then there are brief moments around the upside down, including a shot of Dustin shocked and awed, Sheriff Hopper's hat clearly visible in silhouette.

Basically, many shots of the past, including the gang in their Ghostbusters Halloween costumes.

The big event happens around 17 seconds in, with the ominous ticking of the clock and a shot of Eleven, who appears to have both a new haircut (look at those bangs) and some kind of cop restraining her. Then Mike says, " Something is coming, and it's almost here."

Then we see a bit of Hopper's new look. He has shaved his bald head and is walking around in a hoodie with a flamethrower. Later, a car catches fire, a new cheerleader character goes about her daily routine, D&D dice are rolled, and Eleven (a young one?) is seen in the background.

Netflix may think no one was paying attention to the Stranger Things Season 4 release date rumors, but the 2022 release date window was so obvious that they are overwhelmed to know it now.

Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler) told Fanmio, "Season 4 is ...... When he said, "It should be out sometime next year if possible," we were expecting 2022. Later, David Harbour (Sheriff Hopper) told Jimmy Kimmel Live that filming "should be finished" in August.

At this point, based on the past span of time between filming and release, we believe April 2022 is also possible. However, we need to wait and see a bit more.
