Leaked information about the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been quiet lately in preparation for the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11. Fortunately, new information about Samsung's upcoming entry-level flagship phone has been uncovered.

Max Weinbach shared what appears to be a listing from Chinese certification agency TENAA featuring the S21 FE. This is a tantalizing glimpse into a phone that could be one of the best Android phones in terms of value.

As confirmed by the Galaxy Note 21, there were concerns that Samsung would cancel the S21 FE. Fortunately, recent rumors suggest that the phone will be released this year. The Weinbach discovery seems to confirm this. However, we do not expect the Galaxy S21 FE to be announced at Samsung Unpacked, as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are expected to be the stars of the show.

Based on last year's Galaxy S20 FE 5G code name suffix "U", the code name and name reflect that this is a 5G model. While this may not be the exact version of the phone seen in the US and UK, there does not seem to be much difference between the two, including 5G compatibility.

The S20 FE had both 4G and 5G versions, but the 4G version is not available in the US. Since Samsung still brands its 5G phones with "5G" after the brand name, there are no clues from the trade name of this phone.

Samsung is about to announce a new foldable phone, but the S21 FE may be the company's more important phone for the rest of the year; the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are likely too expensive for most users to consider purchasing.

Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S21 FE will feature a 6.4-inch 120Hz display (up from 6.2 inches on the S20 FE), a Snapdragon 888 processor, a triple rear camera with a 32MP wide lens, 12MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto The battery capacity is said to be 4,370. Battery capacity could be 4,370 mAh.

The Galaxy S20 FE started at $699, so the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to be at least that price to keep pace with the rumored iPhone 13 mini. However, Samsung could make it even cheaper to undercut Apple and compete with the Google Pixel 5a.
