Team USA vs Australia men's basketball live stream:Olympics channels, start time and how to watch online

Team USA vs. Australia live stream is the former's best chance for gold. Yes, after a rocky start, the U.S. side has won its last three games in a row and looks very different from the team that dropped one game to Australia. Yes, the U.S. lost this match in the preliminaries. Times have changed.

However, no one can count Australia out. Especially with Matthew Dellavedova, Dante Exum, Joe Ingles, Patty Mills, and Matise Taibul. Normally Aron Baynes would be there, but he went down with a neck injury.

Team USA is not to be outdone. Team USA was not to be outdone, as the U.S. side's 3-point shooting was on fire in a 95-81 win over Spain. Ricky Rubio scored 13 points in the first quarter, followed by an 11-0 run that gave Spain a 40-29 lead.

Kevin Durant then did what he does best: score. He scored a team-high 31 points and was a perfect 10 of 17 on field goals, 4 of 7 on threes, and 5 of 5 at the line. Jayson Tatum also made 3 of 5 and assisted on a 3-pointer.

If Australia wants to repeat their qualifying success, Matise Taibur will limit Durant's offense. They are not favored to win this Team USA Basketball live stream from the Tokyo Olympics, but they should be confident after their big 97-59 win against Argentina.

Oh, and you're also going to have to pay for Peacock if you want to watch live.

The Olympics are a global event and can be seen in almost every country on earth. However, if you are not in your home country and cannot watch the live stream of Team USA vs. Team Australia on your regular service, or if you prefer to watch in your native language, you are not out of luck.

A virtual private network, or VPN, allows you to access the same streaming services you've already paid for by pretending you're surfing the web from your hometown (or anywhere else not hit by a power outage.) VPNs are completely completely legal, inexpensive, and easy to use.

I'm not sure which VPN is right for me. After testing a variety of services, the best VPN overall is ExpressVPN. It offers great speed and excellent customer service. However, there are other VPN options out there.

The VPN is incredibly easy to use.

1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we have mentioned, ExpressVPN is our favorite.

2. select the location you want to connect to with the VPN app. For example, if you are in the US and want to see UK services, select UK from the list.

3. Sit back and enjoy the action. Go to your preferred website or streaming service and tune in.

Unless you have a cable account and can watch on NBCOlympics.com, to watch the live stream of Team USA vs. Australia starting at 12:15 AM ET / 9:15 PM PT, the NBC streaming service Peacock is required.

To watch the tape-delayed coverage at 6 p.m. ET, use USA; to watch the replay at 11 p.m. ET, use NBCSN. Both are included in the $35/month Sling TV Blue package. The Sports Extras package (an additional $11/month) gets you Olympic channels; Sling is one of the best streaming services alongside our other recommendation for Olympic viewing: Fubo TV has more than 100, including all of the above networks channels (more than Sling), including all of the above networks.

The games will likely be available on the new Discovery Plus service at around 5:40 PM BST. Discovery Plus broke the BBC's previous monopoly by purchasing the rights to the complete coverage of the Tokyo Olympics. This year, while the BBC is limited to two live events at a time, all competitions and all events will be available on Discovery Plus and on the Eurosport channel.

Discovery is currently offering a three-day free trial of the service, after which a full subscription is available for £6.99 per month or £29.99 per year. Additionally, the service can be streamed on a number of devices, including Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV, and apps for iOS and Android.

Americans abroad can use any service they want by logging in via a VPN such as ExpressVPN.

The Olympics continue to confuse people in Canada. Sportsnet's SN and SN1 channels list "scheduled events include - diving, athletics & basketball" for the midnight block, so those may be your best option.

The TSN schedule lists Olympic coverage on TSN1, TSN2, and TSN3 starting at midnight, so there may be games on TSN as well.

Again, Americans visiting their friends in the great white north can use Peacock by logging in via a VPN such as ExpressVPN.

Down under, Aussies can watch USA vs. Australia for free on the network's 7Plus streaming service. The live stream of USA vs. Australia should begin around 2:15 p.m. EST.

I am currently out of the country. Please use ExpressVPN to access paid services.
