Hawkeye's Disney Plus release date revealed on 11/24

You don't need eagle eyes to find out when Hawkeye will be released. Jeremy Renner has revealed when the Disney Plus show will finally be released.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Renner said the show will be released on November 24, 2021, or the day before Thanksgiving. It should be a fun holiday viewing as we will see how Clint Barton (Renner) gives up the mantle to Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld).

And yes, it's Wednesday. As we learned after the huge success of "Loki" on Wednesdays (the highest premiere viewership in Disney Plus history), Disney Plus has shifted its TV release dates from Fridays to Wednesdays. This leaves Fridays free for the release of major films and other releases.

Marvel has scheduled Kamala Khan's show for 2021.

Of course, as we recently learned, Hawkeye is interconnected with other works in the MCU. Spoiler alert below!

First off, ask anyone who has read Matt Fraction's Hawkeye, on which the show is based, and they will tell you we are in for a treat. Its recent serialization of Hawkeye is considered the best thing ever for the character.

And one more thing. As we saw in the post-credits scene for Black Widow, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) appears in Hawkeye, possibly stealing even more scenes. Belova is told (wrongly) by Val (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) that Natasha Romanoff's death is Burton's fault. Since Belova is also Val's lackey, this point is worth considering.

Nevertheless, we have high hopes for Hawkeye because Hayley Steinfeld has proven to be one of the best rising stars. She was compelling in the film Bumblebee Transformers and has impressed in Dickinson on Apple TV Plus.

And maybe you'll be excited to learn more about Clint Barton. All we have seen of Hawkeye's life has been that farmhouse with his family, but this series (if it stays true to the original) will show a different side of Ace Archer.
