"Flight Attendant" Season 2 is coming to HBO Max. The first season of this dark comedy/thriller was not only a hit for the streaming service, but also garnered a slew of Golden Globe and Emmy nominations. Starring Kaley Cuoco, who celebrated her first Emmy nomination after many years of blanks for The Big Bang Theory.

"Flight Attendant" Season 2 will introduce a major change upon its return to HBO Max. The series received a tax break from the state of California, which allowed it to move its setting from New York to sunny Los Angeles

"Flight Attendant" follows Cathy Bowden, the main character. On a flight to Bangkok, she meets and flirts with handsome passenger Alex Sokolov (Michiel Uysman). After landing, they hook up, but when Cathy wakes up the next morning, Alex is dead in the bed next to her.

Terrified and hungover, she decides not to call the police. That was the beginning of a series of bad decisions that got her into trouble. Cathy's predicament eventually draws her lawyer friend Annie (Zosia Mamet).

"Flight Attendant" was initially billed as a miniseries, but a second season was planned from the beginning.

"I hope this doesn't sound too cheeky, but we always had the idea for season two," Cuoco said. We had a very clear path of what season two was going to look like, and we know exactly what it's going to look like."

Streamers ordered Season 2 on December 18, the day after the Season 1 finale aired; in March, Warner Media CEO Jason Killer announced that The Flight Attendant was HBO Max's most-watched series and that Season 2 would He announced that it would debut in the spring of 2022.
