Marvel's next film, "Fantastic Four," faces a challenge that its predecessor did not succeed. It is to portray the Richards family properly on the big screen.

There has been a lot of speculation since Disney bought 20th Century Fox, but now that Marvel has officially announced the film, the Fantastic Four movie exists in a gray area where casting rumors are rife.

But why would this movie be better than many before it? Disney's track record with Marvel films is far stronger than any other studio. On top of that, it will be helmed by one of the best directors in the MCU.

Nevertheless, not all is right at this point with this latest Fantastic Four film, and many negative opinions have been thrown around about the casting possibilities. Fortunately, these rumors have been watered down.

It all started when the Daily Mail convinced people that Jennifer Lawrence would soon be heading to Australia to film the new Fantastic Four movie.

Deadline's Justin Kroll quashed the rumor by tweeting, "No script and it will be a while before this movie starts shooting."

No other casting rumors have surfaced yet, but fans online are very hopeful that Emily Blunt and John Krasinski will get the part. Blunt disagrees with the idea and told The Hollywood Reporter, "I really understand that (superhero movies) are like a religion to a lot of people ....... I understand that (superhero movies) are like a religion to a lot of people. I don't have a burning desire to play a superhero."

We wouldn't wait for Marvel's "Fantastic Four" movie even if Reed Richards had expandable lungs and rib cage.

Based on the above report that Marvel does not even have a script yet and is currently meeting with a screenwriter, it will be a long time before a Fantastic Four movie is released.

Currently, the list of upcoming Marvel movies stretches to 2023, when "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" and "Ant-Man 3" are scheduled (and possibly "Deadpool 3"). This would be the earliest the film could be produced.

We are beginning to see many references to Marvel's first family in the MCU. For starters, a variant of Kang the Conqueror (who also used the name Nathaniel Richards), "He Who Remains," appeared in the Loki finale. Kang had long been a close associate of the Fantastic Four in the comics.

In the same episode, there may have been another reference to the Richards family, as at least one fan saw it. If one looked closely at the space scene, one might have seen the Richards family spaceship.
