Elite Season 5: Everything You Know So Far

Elite Season 5: Everything You Know So Far

We need more drama, and thankfully "Elite" Season 5 seems to be giving us that. On the surface, "Elite" may seem like your average teen drama. It focuses on the students of Las Encinas, an exclusive secondary school, and the ups and downs they experience as they grow up.

However, the introduction of a rather intense development early on makes "Elite" much less predictable and much more dangerous. Season 4 has only just been released on Netflix, but fans are still anticipating when Season 5 of "Elite" will be available.

The good news is that Netflix has renewed the next season before this season is released. However, details so far have been quite sparse. However, there are some hints as to what we can look forward to once "Elite" Season 5 hits the screens, especially considering the major cast changes that have already been announced.

Here's what we know so far about Elite Season 5.

It is difficult to know when Elite Season 5 will be released on Netflix, but there are clues. However, streaming giant Netflix has been urging fans to get excited for months, tweeting in February 2021, "Elite fans, get ready for more as the fifth season has been renewed."

While it is impossible to know exactly when new episodes will be available, the releases of previous seasons of Elite provide some clues. Season 3 was released in March 2020, and Season 4 was released a little later, in June 2021, due to COVID-19. In other words, there is an approximate one-year gap between each season. If Elite Season 5 follows suit, it should be released around April or May 2022.

There is no confirmation yet that filming has begun on new episodes; Netflix announced "Elite" Season 5 in January, paving the way for production to begin, but so far there is no official news on whether it has already begun or when.

There were rumors that the show's production company, Zeta Ficción TV, was planning to begin production on season 5 in February 2021 in order to prepare new episodes without delay, but it is unclear if this is actually the case.

Once filming of Elite Season 5 begins or goes further, news will likely begin to appear online, either from the cast and crew themselves or from fans who have witnessed the production on location.

Due to the thrilling nature of the series, the cast of "Elite" tends to change regularly, and "Elite" Season 5 will be no different. While Mencia (Martina Caridi), Samuel (Itzan Escamilla), Omar (Omar Ayuso), Rebecca (Claudia Salas), Patrick (Manu Rios), and Ali (Carla Diaz) all return, two new cast members join: Argentine actress Valentina Zenele and Brazilian actor Andre Lamoglia. Details of their roles are currently unknown, but more information will be revealed as we get closer.

One character who will not be returning to the show is Armando (Andres Belencoso), who was killed by Guzman (Miguel Bernardó) in season 4. Guzman is also unlikely to appear in season 5 after his journey with Ander (Aron Piper).

There are several others who are likely to depart, especially since Elite likes to swap the storylines it follows from season to season, but either way, Elite Season 5 is sure to bring some crazy new drama.

It is impossible to know what storylines Elite Season 5 will focus on, because it is impossible to know what storylines will be the most important. By following such a different thread each year, viewers are kept on their toes and never know what will happen.

That said, given the addition of two new cast members - and that's just the first two that have been confirmed, not necessarily the only ones done - Elite will likely follow a whole new thread involving new characters. Whether they stay alive and well and make it to the end of the season is another question entirely, but that's part of the fun.

There is no suggestion that Elite Season 5 could be the end of the series, but given that characters often go missing or die, and that the show is set in a high school from which most of the cast will eventually graduate, it is not unreasonable to assume that the show has a shelf life of It is not unreasonable to assume that the show has an expiration date.

Then again, that is complete speculation, as Netflix has not hinted at a cancellation after season 5, so "Elite" could continue for years to come, focusing on new students who begin attending Las Encinas.

When it comes to what's next for Netflix, look no further than "Stranger Things" Season 4. Coming this fall and winter are "Money Heist" Season 5, "The Witcher" Season 2, and "You" Season 3.

Further down the road are "Emily in Paris" Season 2, "Sex Education" Season 3, and "Virgin River" Season 3.
