American Horror Story Season 10, Double Features: Release date, cast, teaser trailer, etc

Season 10 of [American Horror Story] will begin soon. The latest installment of Ryan Murphy's drama anthology series is titled "Double Feature."

It has been nearly a decade since the show's debut season, "Murder House," first aired. Since then, "American Horror Story" has released a wrenching nine seasons, and Murphy's work seems to continue to surprise us each time; AHS has even spawned a spin-off, Hulu's episodic anthology "American Horror Stories," which is now available on Hulu. AHS has even spawned a spin-off, the Hulu episode anthology American Horror Stories. And with FX having renewed the series through season 13, there is no end in sight.

American Horror Stories Season 10 was announced in 2018, before the ninth installment aired; the ninth season, subtitled 1984, was a tribute to 80s slasher films.

Season 10, like many other film and television productions, was delayed due to the pandemic. However, as the industry picked up steam again, Murphy began previewing the next "AHS" theme. He called it a "double feature" and revealed that it would tell two stories, "one on the beach and one on the sand." It is essentially two seasons in one, Murphy said, "doubling the viewing pleasure."

Several AHS regulars, including Emmy winner Sarah Paulson, will return to form the cast of both stories.

Here's what we know so far about American Horror Story Season 10 "double feature".

FX has set the release date for "American Horror Story" Season 10 for Wednesday, August 25, 2021.

The network first ordered Season 10 on August 3, 2018, ahead of its 2020 premiere. However, production was delayed due to the pandemic, and AHS Season 10 was pushed back to 2021.

The first part of Double Feature was filmed from December 2020 to May 2021. Filming of the second part began on July 8, 2021.

Double Feature will consist of 10 episodes; it will premiere on August 25, so AHS season 10 will continue through the week of Halloween.

Episode titles, writers, and directors have not yet been revealed.

In an Instagram post, Ryan Murphy officially confirmed the cast for the double feature.

The tenth season of American Horror Story will see the return of fan favorites from previous seasons, including Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, and Lily Rabe. Also, look forward to the appearance of notable actors such as Billie Lord, Adina Porter, Frances Conroy, Finn Wittrock, Leslie Grossman, and Angelica Roth.

The most shocking of the new faces is Macaulay Culkin, made famous by his role as a child in Home Alone. Murphy said of the casting in an interview with E. News: "I've always loved Macaulay Culkin's work and everything he's done. And he hasn't worked for a while."

In the same interview, Murphy also made a titillating comment about the erotic sex scenes that take place between Culkin and Bates' characters." I said, 'OK, here's the pitch.' And I told him about the character and told him that he was going to have crazy, erotic sex with Kathy Bates and do some other things. And he said, 'This is the kind of role I was born to play. And he signed on the spot."

On Instagram, Murphy shared a behind-the-scenes photo of Culkin standing next to AHS regular Leslie Grossman.

In other casting news, Murphy reported that performer Spencer Novich and model Kaia Gerber had also joined the cast. In an Instagram post, Murphy praised Novich's superb performance in the audition tape.

There is some bad news about the cast of "AHS Double Feature. Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange dismissed the possibility of returning to the series in an interview with The Wrap. She said, "I don't think I want to create a character from scratch."

The official book trailer for "American Horror Story" is not yet available: a double feature. However, a teaser video has given us a tiny glimpse of Season 10: a 35-second video released in March revealed the official title of the season.

The teaser doesn't reveal much more than that. However, Murphy's description suggests that the season will be divided into two stories, one of the sea and one of the sand.

What's Next on TV "Yellowstone" Season 4 finally has a release date, and "Succession" Season 3 has released its first trailer. In the fall, "Grey's Anatomy" Season 18 and "NCIS" Season 19 will air.

A little further down the road, "This Is Us" Season 6 and "Outlander" Season 6 drama await.
