Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Watch 4 may have just appeared in the Samsung video

We know that Samsung has a huge variety of products that are said to be coming out at the rumored Samsung Unpacked Event on August 11.

Samsung just posted a new video talking to Good Rock, the developer behind the new customization feature. Coincidentally, one of those developers seems to have both a Galaxy Watch 4 and a Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Jump ahead 57 seconds and see for yourself. Other than the leaked renderings, this could be the first real look at the device, and we'll also get an idea of what Samsung has planned for the Unpacked event.

From the images, it appears that these are not just any old model that got rolled in. The Galaxy Fold on the screen has a rectangular cutout for the camera. The original Fold had a rectangular camera array, and the one on the Z Fold 2 is much wider, similar to the camera module on the Galaxy Note 20.

The developer in question also holds an S Pen in one shot, which upon further inspection appears to be the yellow and blue S Pen that came with Samsung's Galaxy Note 9.

At least it is not the same style S Pen compatible with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. So, unfortunately, this does not provide further evidence that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will have stylus support.

The Galaxy Watch is much harder to identify, as this design and color scheme was already available on previous Galaxy Watch devices. However, its proximity to the unreleased Z Fold 3 and the fact that it is being worn on the wrist of a Samsung One UI developer suggests that it may be something new.

Or it could be wishful thinking. Unfortunately, little glimpses like this mean that we can't really glean any extra details from this video. After all, devices are not the primary focus here.

The only question is why Samsung allowed both devices to appear. The company has been accused of being more aggressive with leaked information appearing online and has been known to remove videos featuring unannounced products.

Then again, this could be one of those "accidental" but intentional things. Or perhaps someone at Samsung underestimated the Internet and underestimated people's ability to recognize these products even from the slightest glimpse.

Both devices, along with the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Buds 2, and possibly the Z Flip Lite, are expected to make an appearance at the next Unpacked event, currently rumored to be held on August 11.

Previous rumors have suggested that the Z Fold 3 will feature a 120Hz display, a 7.7-inch inner folding screen, a 6.2-inch outer display, a triple-lens camera system, a hole-punch camera on the outer display, and an inner display An under-display camera is reportedly possible; support for the S Pen has also been rumored for some time.

As for the Galaxy Watch 4, Samsung is expected to enhance its health and fitness features. It is rumored to include body composition (and body fat percentage) measurement and blood sugar monitoring. It has also been confirmed that it will feature a new version of Google's Wear OS rather than Samsung's own Tizen-based software.

We will report further information on these devices as it becomes available.
