Now that you've seen the post-credits scene for Black Widow, I'm sure you have a few questions. If you are here to be spoiled because you don't want to go to the movie theater or pay $30 for Disney Plus Premiere Access, please take this as a spoiler warning!

Because at the link below, there is a description of who said what to whom in the final post-credits scene. This is a moment that people who don't watch every new Marvel show or movie may not understand, so it's nice to have the explanation.

The bulk of the Black Widow story is, in fact, an introduction: it takes place after "Civil War" and before the two-part epic of "Infinity War" and "Endgame. But because all things Marvel must tie into one another, the post-credits scene takes the story to the present day, after "Endgame."

Here, Yelena (Florence Pugh) visits Natasha's grave to pay her respects. This is because Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (don't call her Val), played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, hires her for revenge. It's time for Val to hunt the hunters in order to make Yelena take down Hawkeye.

Wait, what? Yes, as you know, Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) died in Vaumil to save Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). Yelena doesn't know this exactly, but she may find out later this year on Disney Plus' "Hawkeye" show. Yes, the post-credits scene in the Marvel movie was used to enhance the next Marvel movie, but now it is being used to enhance the plot points of the Marvel TV show.

I'm assuming you haven't seen Falcon and Winter Soldier episode 5, JLD's first MCU appearance was as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine: Madame Hydra.

At the time, Val was recruiting John Walker for a new mission and would later name him as USAgent in the finale of Falcon and Winter Soldier. Like a puppet master, she seems to be collecting bad fighters. One wonders if Irena and John Walker are working together or if they are unaware of each other's intentions.

All of this is to say that the Black Widow post-credits scene confirms what Disney has been trying to reveal: the MCU's Disney Plus show is important in the grand scheme of things and will leave you a little confused if you don't follow along.

Basically, it's a very important show.
