Who Needs Comic-Con?Netflix Geeked Week in June spawned a successor event: the Netflix Geeked x Comic-Con@Home, where Netflix will present more geeky films such as the Kevin Smith-led "Masters of the Universe" (original title: Masters of the Universe," starring Zach Sny's "Revelation," and more maniacal films: and Kevin Smith's "Masters of the Universe: Revelation" and Zack Snyder's Army of Thieves (a prequel to Army of the Dead) will be distributed.

So instead of a face-to-face Comic-Con, which doesn't make much sense as the Covid-19 Delta variants have proven to be dangerous, we're going to get a big announcement under the Comic-Con@Home banner, and Netflix's project isn't the only one. The panel will be streamed on Comic-Con's YouTube channel.

Expect to hear Smith and his voice cast talk about the series bringing back He-Man, Skeletor, and many other familiar characters to Eternia.

Fans of Zack Snyder will get to know more about the controversial filmmaker, who will be releasing a sneak peek of "Army of Thieves." Starring and director Matthias Schweiefer, co-star Nathalie Emmanuel, and Snyder's fellow producers Deborah Snyder and Wesley Koller will also appear.

Fans hoping to see what "Lucifer" Season 6 has in store will be tuning in to see Tom Ellis, along with executive producers Joe Henderson and Ildi Modrovic. The trio will preview what will happen in the show's final season.

Netflix's summer horror trilogy, "Fear Street," will also be represented, with renowned writer R.L. Stine on the panel with director Lee Janiak and cast members Kiana Madeira, Olivia Scott Welch, and Benjamin Flores, Jr. will participate.

Remember Netflix is preparing a Jean-Claude Van Damme project, and J-CVD and director David Charhon will be on hand for a preview of "The Last Mercenary," coming to Netflix on July 30.

Honestly, this seems like exactly what Comic-Con should be about. You shouldn't need a pass or the energy to wade through a crowd of fans to actually get a trailer for the next installment of your favorite show. We hope that Comic-Con continues to be "at home" in the upcoming year, and that the show's fans will be able to enjoy the show as much as they do the next year.
