How to watch monsters at work online: release time, episode schedule, etc.

It's finally time to watch Monsters at Work online. This new Disney Plus series shows what it's like to be a new employee at Monsters Incorporated. But "Monsters at Work" shows that the world is changing and fear is 2020.

The series follows the early career of Tyler Taskmon (voiced by Ben Feldman of Superstore), a young monster who worked as a scare artist at Monsters University. Unfortunately for Tyler, he must become a jokester, which is no easy task. Before he can start over on his path, he must spend time with the misfit monsters on the mechanics team.

Mike and Sulley also make an appearance, but they are not the focus of the show, so hopefully "Monsters at Work" will capture the same sense of imagination and whimsy. In addition to Feldman, Mindy Kaling (Val) and Henry Winkler aka The Fonz (Fritz) will appear.

The returning and recurring cast from "Monsters, Inc." includes Bonnie Hunt as Mr. Flint, Pixar regular John Ratzenberger as Yeti, and Jennifer Tilly as Celia May. Aisha Tyler joins them as Millie Taskmon.

Monsters at Work airs very, very early on Disney Plus.

The first two episodes debut on Wednesday, July 7 at 3:00 am ET. Subsequent episodes will be available every Wednesday at the same time.

Disney Plus is available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand It is available in Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, so it will not be difficult to access.

Rolling Stone TV critic Alan Sepinwall gave Monsters at Work a 3.5/5-star review, noting that it "cleverly flips the plot of Monsters University" and that "Mike and Sulley need not be part of Monsters at Work, but they are fine, and a show centered around them is a promising enough start for this new phase of the brand's existence."

Nick Harley of Den of Geek writes, "Monsters at Work feels more like a TV spin-off of popular Disney movies of yesteryear that used to haunt the Disney Channel than a proper extension of a Pixar property." His 3/5-star review concludes, "While not Pixar, it may still end up being serviceable."

ComicBook.com's Charlie Ridgely liked the series more, rating it 4/5 and claiming that Monsters at Work "does a great job of recreating the spirit of the original film while creating something unique and exciting for the franchise. It's doing its job," he claims.

There will be more episodes of Monsters at Work this week than in later weeks.

The series has 10 episodes and will conclude on September 1. It is not yet known if "Monsters at Work" will have a second season.
