Windows11Insider preview is now available — here's how to get it

Windows 11 is here. Microsoft has released the first preview build of Windows 11 for participants in the Windows Insiders program. While this means early access to the latest generation of Windows, it also means taking some risks.

As Microsoft itself revealed on its Windows blog, this new version includes some of the much-hyped new features, such as a new Start menu, taskbar, notification center, and redesign, but it is not feature complete. The big integration of Microsoft Teams in chat, the Windows 11 Android app, and many redesigns are not there yet.

Why is the Windows 11 Insider Preview still in beta, given Microsoft's list of known issues, which includes such oddities as "upgrading a device with multiple user accounts to Windows 11 will not launch settings." Included.

Consider "getting ready" as step zero: before you can join the Windows Insider Program and download the Windows 11 beta, you must prepare your PC.

First, check to see if your system is compatible with Windows 11. The basic system requirements are as follows:

1. To get Windows 11 now, you need to join the Windows Insider Program, which you can join from the web.

2. Alternatively, you can join from Windows 10. First, click on the Start menu.

3. Next, click on "Settings."

4. next tap on "Update and Security".

5. Select Windows Insider Program from the menu on the left.

6. Select "Get Started". If you have already registered, you can skip to step 8.

7. Click on your account link.

8. select the Microsoft account you wish to link to. if you do not have a Microsoft account, create one here.

9. Select Dev Channel and press Confirm.

Follow the subsequent prompts and you will be on your way to Windows 11.
