Nespresso has introduced a new touchscreen-free coffee maker to its Momento lineup of commercial machines. The Nespresso Momento Coffee & Milk replaces the previous Momento touchscreen and allows users to brew specialty coffee using a smartphone, automatic brewing, or remote control.

Nespresso produces some of the best coffeemakers for the professional market today, and is now making moves to ensure that the best Nespresso machines have a place in the changing office world.

The Coffee & Milk version, launched at the same time as the Momento Coffee & Coffee machine, allows for a greater variety of specialty drinks with the addition of a commercial milk frothing section.

While the Coffee & Coffee focuses on having two extraction heads in one machine, the new Coffee & Milk relies on built-in presets for cappuccino and latte macchiato, but allows the user to program the amount of milk.

Kika Bourman, Nespresso's vice president of sales, explains how the touchless design rekindles communication in the workplace and provides an additional safeguard to "create the perfect cup of coffee at the heart of these interactions and strengthen meaningful employee relationships" by Provide.

While these safety features were introduced to the product line in light of the COVID-19 craze, the new Momento machines still incorporate the modular and quiet design of the award-winning series. In fact, its ease of use remains Nespresso's biggest selling point. Interchanging and replacing different modular sections, or simply moving them around to fit your office space, can keep things more flexible and reduce downtime for maintenance and repairs.

The Nespresso Moments are currently only available through the Nespresso Professional Network, but will be available in retail stores in August 2021.
