After many delays, "The Black Widow" was finally released on Disney Plus Premiere Access. However, Disney has confirmed when the film will be available to all Disney Plus subscribers, in accordance with their tradition. Those who don't want to buy it now will just have to wait.

Black Widow will be added to the regular Disney Plus content library on October 6, three months after its theatrical/on-demand debut. This is a fairly standard release schedule for Disney Plus Premier Access films, with Mulan and Raya and the Last Dragon becoming available at no additional cost just a few months after their Premier Access debut.

If you're not enamored with all things Marvel, it may be worth waiting until you can see the films as part of your regular Disney Plus subscription. But if you're a superfan of the MCU, the $30 you pay to enjoy the next feature film in the franchise before it's spoiled seems cheap.

The film is available for pre-order now via Disney Plus Premier Access. While you won't get any special offers if you order today, you can start watching the movie the moment it is released.

Black Widow will be the first film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after 2019. Originally slated for release in May 2020, the film was postponed three times due to a coronavirus pandemic. However, Disney seems very confident about the current July 9 release date. It seems highly unlikely that the film will be further pushed back.

This MCU film will be drawn between "Captain America" and "Avengers: Civil War" and "Avengers: Infinity War": Scarlett Johansson will once again don the black jumpsuit as the Black Widow. She wears a black jumpsuit again as Black Widow. The film explores her complicated past and introduces her sisterly figure, Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh.

Critics have already premiered the film and the response has been mostly positive: "As someone who has been waiting since 2010 for Natasha Romanoff to have her own film, it was worth the wait," said Hector Navarro of Nerdist. Nevertheless, there are some less enthusiastic voices. Scott Menzel (founder of the Hollywood Critics Association) described it as "a disjointed and uneven mess."

Whether you decide to see the film in a few weeks at premiere access (or in theaters) or are content to wait until October, it's great to finally be able to enjoy an MCU film again after so many delays.
