Star Trek: Picard Season 2's new teaser trailer Shows Q Suffering

Some things age, some things don't. That's what the trailer for "Star Trek: Picard" Season 2 tells us. The trailer opens with Starfleet Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) calling out loudly for his housekeeper, Lalaith. However, his caretaker does not welcome him there.

And when Picard asks, "What the hell is going on here?" he gets the voice he least wanted to hear.

"Excellent question," Q replies, mocking him nastily, "Good God, you're a little older than I imagined," and the camera cuts to Q (John de Lancie) himself.

Q seems to be here to play with time." Before Q says, "Welcome my friends, to the end of the road less traveled," you can see that everyone is confused as to what is going on. Familiar cast members, including Dr. Agnes Jurati (Allison Pill) and Santiago Cabrera (Cristóbal Ríos), appear on screen.

And Jeri Ryan gets plenty of screen time in this trailer, as Seven of Nine is just as confused as everyone else and is missing a Borg implant above her left eye. If the ring on her finger is to be believed, she may be engaged.

No word yet on when "Star Trek: Picard" Season 2 will be available on Paramount Plus, but it is expected sometime in 2022. John de Lancie is not the only big star returning: Whoopi Goldberg will return as Guinan. Patrick Stewart offered her a return when she guest starred on The View. This is because Patrick Stewart made the offer when he guest starred on The View. It is unclear how many episodes Goldberg will appear in, or if it will be just a cameo. However, it seems that Jean-Luc needs all the help he can get. [Showrunner and best-selling author Michael Shaiborne will write two episodes this season, and Jonathan Frakes (Riker himself) will direct an unknown number of episodes.
