Katie appeared on the latest season of The Bachelor and ended up in 11th place after a prank date with Matt and his best friend Tyler Cameron. Katie made an impressive appearance in the premiere, wielding a vibrator, and became a fan favorite for speaking out against the bullying and toxic environment that some of her fellow contestants engaged in.

Bachelorette Season 17 is already attracting attention as it will be the first show not hosted by Chris Harrison, who was dropped after criticism for defending a racist photo of Rachel Kirkconnell. He will be replaced by two former Bachelorettes, Tayshia Adams and Caitlin Bristow.

If you previously heard that Katie's season will premiere on June 1, that is because a Google search had that date listed. However, since June 1 is a Tuesday, that never makes a ton of sense. The Bachelor series almost always airs on Monday nights.

Katie Thurston is a 30-year-old bank marketing manager from Seattle, Washington. In her Bachelor bio, she says she is interested in hosting a talk show someday.

She was not kidding when she appeared with a purple vibrator. Katie is serious about being sex positive. She went viral last summer with a TikTok video about quarantine masturbation and said on the podcast The Bachelor Happy Hour, "I believe it's 2021 and I think women should feel comfortable talking about their sexuality."

Katie has been drummed by her ex-boyfriend Matt James, who is in full support of ABC's choice.

"A woman like that should be the Bachelorette candidate," he said on Watch What Happens Live. 'She's bold, she's courageous, she stands up for what she believes in.'

And she's definitely looking forward to being the Bachelorette. 'I'm ready to find love,' Katie said on the After Rose finale special. 'Not just temporary love, but love with my husband that will last forever. And I'm in a place in my life where I feel I'm the best version of myself."

The latest promo for "Bachelorette 2021" is chock full of shirtless men." Come back sexy," the video teases. But there's plenty of silliness in store for Katie, too.

In the first promo for Season 17, Katie declares, "I know what I want. I know what I deserve." The teaser trailer shows a bit of old footage of Katie and Matt during the Bachelor season and inserts a scene of Katie wearing a lavender gown and holding a rose (of course). No vibrators appear, though.

Because of the pandemic, Katie's season, like Matt's Bachelor season and Claire/Tasia's split Bachelorette season, was filmed entirely in one location.

Reality Steve, the leading Bachelor spoiler, broke the news that Bachelorette 2021 would be filmed at the Hyatt Tamaya outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico, even before Katie was officially chosen for the lead role.

Steve also tweeted a scoop that Katie and the cast (including the men, crew, and hosts Caitlin and Taysha) began quarantine last week.

On May 18, ABC revealed 29 of the 30 contestants vying for Katie's hand; one remains a mystery, but may be a familiar face to Bachelor Nation.

Filming for Katie's season is over and Reality Steve has released some spoilers.

Steve managed to identify the man who got Katie's first impression of the rose: Greg Grippo, 27, from Edison, NJ.

Steve also revealed the identity of the 30th contestant, the "mystery man." And it looks like Blake, along with Greg (who received the rose on first impression), will make it to the final four.

And a big spoiler. In real life Steve says Katie is engaged. But he doesn't know which man will get her last rose, so stay tuned.
