Who will receive the last rose from Katie Thurston? "The Bachelorette" spoilers may reveal the winner of season 17 before the first episode airs tonight. And that spoiler may have been dropped by The Bachelorette 2021 itself! But Reality Steve, the Bachelorette spoiler king, has a different take on the rumors flying around.

These rumors began weeks ago when Thurston posted a photo on Instagram tagged at Dukes La Jolla restaurant in San Diego. The Bachelor star Matt James had a fun trip with friends, including fellow contestants from the season of The Bachelor. Not a big deal: ...... Except that fans dug up a connection between the restaurant and one of the cast members from Season 17.

Redditor discovered that contestant John Hershey is listed on LinkedIn as a bartender at Dukes La Jolla. That, coupled with Reality Steve's earlier report that Hershey was in Thurston's Final Four, indicated that Thurston was cunningly visiting her last rose winner (and possible fiancé) under the guise of a trip with friends.

However, Reality Steve Carbone now reports that Hershey is not Thurston's winner. He also learned that Hersey did not even advance to the Final Four, contradicting his earlier spoiler.

"Nothing," Carbone writes.

Carbone also wrote that Thurston is very savvy when it comes to social media and that she would not "accidentally" ruin something as big as the winner of her season.

"I didn't think she was stupid enough to 1) visit his workplace and 2) visit him with her franchise friends. She's too smart for that," Carbone said.

Thurston also joked about possible spoilers. In another Instagram post from her San Diego trip, a fan asked, "OMG is that a teaser for your Bach pick when you move to San Diego?" She wrote. Bachelorette replied, "Hahaha, I'm not that messy."

Thurston did not really confirm or completely deny the rumor, which shows that she is really good at playing Bachelorette's spoiler game.
