Hawks vs. Knicks Live Stream: How to Watch NBA Playoffs Game 5 Online

Tonight's Hawks vs Knicks live stream is about to begin, and it has Trae Young and Clint Capela trying to cap off a first round series with New York. Of course, the whole of MSG will be willing to rest with Derrick Rose and Julius Randle as they try to keep NY's postseason going with this NBA playoff live stream.

After splitting the first two games of this series in New York, the Hawks took control in Atlanta and now lead this series 3-1. Trae Young is averaging 27.5 points and 10 assists per game in this series, giving his team the advantage. Despite the lead, Young told reporters after the Game 4 win that "the job is not done yet."

While Young has been steady for the team, Julius Randle has not been so for the Knicks. New York's regular season scoring leader has struggled in this series, but is coming off his best game. Through Game 4, Randle has yet to reach 20 points and shoot over 35% from the field. In the most recent matchup, he achieved both, scoring 23 points on 7/19 shooting. If the Knicks are going to force a Game 6, Randle needs to be at his best and Derrick Rose and RJ Barrett need to maintain their offensive prowess. Like Randle, Barrett is coming off his best scoring game of the series, and Rose leads the Knicks with 22.8 points per game this postseason.

Game 5 will also be Trae Young's first game back at MSG since the incident in Game 2 when an off-court row fan spat on the Hawks guard. Unfortunately, this is just one of several fan-related incidents that have occurred in the first round of the NBA playoffs. There was a fan throwing popcorn at Russell Westbrook in Philadelphia, a fan running onto the court in Washington, and a fan being arrested for throwing a bottle at Kyrie Irving in Boston.

The Knicks return home as 1.5-point favorites in Game 5. The over/under is 208.
