Cobra Kai Season 4 Teaser Trailer brings villain Terry Silver

"Now the real pain begins" A new "Cobra Kai" Season 4 teaser trailer confirms the return of perhaps the franchise's biggest villain: Terry Silver. Terry Silver has no intention of showing mercy to Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) or Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio).

Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) was introduced in the film "The Karate Kid Part III" as a wealthy businessman who financed the Cobra Kai dojo for his former military friend John Crease (Martin Cove).

"Since the series began, we have carefully timed the release of Cobra Kai Dojo co-founder Terry Silver into space," said show creators Josh Heald, John Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg.

"That moment is now."

If you thought Cleese was sadistic and abusive, Silver is worse - which is ominously revealed in the teaser trailer. 'Anyone who can't stand up can't fight,' Silver snarls in the voice-over. He's a man willing to go to "extreme measures" to get what he wants.

Silver's return to the ballet was hinted at in the Cobra Kai season 3 finale. After Daniel and Johnny integrated their dojo and took on Creese and Cobra Kai at the All-Valley Tournament, he made a call to someone.

We thought it had to be Silver, who appeared in a flashback to Cleese's time as a soldier in the Vietnam War. He credits Cleese with saving his life when he underwent a grueling ordeal as a POW. In Karate Kid Part III, Silver helped his old friend get revenge on Daniel and Mr. Miyagi by financing "karate bad boy" Mike Burns (Sean Kanan) in a tournament.

In Cobra Kai Season 4, the titular dojo is back under Cleese's control, but his students must win the tournament if he wants to keep it. This seems like another opportunity for Silver to spend money and go to "extreme measures." Perhaps fellow "Karate Kid 3" villain Mike Burns will return to join the evil team.

Cobra Kai season 4 is expected to premiere on Netflix by the end of 2021.
