Microsoft sets Up E3 2021 Event - Is the Starfield on the agenda?

At E3 next month, we'll be hearing a lot about Microsoft's partnership with Bethesda Games as the company touts its Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X games. And hopefully, we will learn more about the highly anticipated Starfield, which is expected to be exclusive to Xbox and PC.

Microsoft has officially confirmed its plans for E3 2021." A streaming event on June 13, dubbed the "Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase," will highlight the event. In addition to Microsoft, this is the first official event by the Big Three console makers, which include Sony and Nintendo, and has sparked speculation as to what Bethesda, acquired by Microsoft, will say about "Starfield."

No specific games were named in the digital event announcement, and Aaron Greenberg, general manager of Xbox Games Marketing, said, "We're going to talk about the epic lineup of games that will come out of this partnership, everything you want to know about Aaron Greenberg, general manager of Xbox Games Marketing, promises "a 90-minute show packed with everything you want to know about the epic lineup of games coming out of this partnership. Microsoft's E3 announcement did not mention any games, but it appears that Starfield will be part of it.

Starfield is a space-faring sci-fi game first teased for 2018. Not much information has been released about the game, but leaked images suggest it will combine space exploration with the open-world adventure format found in other Bethesda games such as Skyrim and Fallout 4

Recent leaks information suggest that "Starfield" may be released in the near future, i.e., as close as "June 13". The game itself may not ship until next year, at which time it will likely be an Xbox and PC exclusive.

Whether we'll hear anything about this sci-fi RPG or the equally anticipated "The Elder Scrolls 6" remains to be seen, but given Microsoft's considerable lineup of games announced so far, the show's lack of content It's not likely to suffer.

A quarter of the official logo for the E3 event is dominated by Master Chief, and details on the long-delayed Halo Infinite will no doubt be announced. And if there are new Fable, Perfect Dark, and Hellblade games, new projects from Rare and Obsidian Entertainment, and a dozen other Xbox studios preparing, Todd Howard, wearing a Starfield T-shirt, will be there. head may be spinning long before he appears on stage.

Microsoft's E3 event begins at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. ET.
