Soon "The Conjuring" will be released: we're pretty excited for the latest chapter in this spooky series. As always, "The Conjuring" pulls the story away from reality and bases it on the case of a real-life paranormal investigator.

And once again, Ed and Lorraine Warren and their husband and wife are going through a lot of scary events. This time, a young man (not long after the supposed murder) shows up in a small town claiming that it is the work of the devil.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It begins in a very unusual way. A young man with empty eyes walks down the street.

He is stopped by a police officer, who notices that his shirt and hands are quite bloody. 'Looks like he hurt somebody,' he says. And that is enough of a story to put Ed and Lorraine Warren in court, where Ed presses the room to "accept the existence of the devil."

Ed and Lorraine go in search of the evil spirit, and on their way, night falls in broad daylight. Also, a waterbed develops a leak. One townspeople blames it on a "Satanist master."

Coming soon is The Conjuring: "The Devil Made Me Do It," which opens June 4. It will also be streaming on HBO Max the same day. [Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren, respectively.

"The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It" will be released on HBO Max on June 4, the same day as its theatrical release. And since first-run films are only released on HBO Max for 30 days, "The Conjuring 3" will leave HBO Max on July 4: Hopefully "The Devil Made Me Do It" will eventually return to HBO Max. left HBO Max in January 2021 and returned in May 2021. Based on that, we assume that "The Conjuring 3" will return this November.

Initial Reactions to The Conjuring: The first reactions to The Devil Made Me Do It have been released and have been positive; Jenna Bush of Vital Thrills tweeted that it was "a great next chapter in the franchise! Very heartfelt and has a love story at its core". Her reaction was so strong that she claimed to have fallen asleep with the lights on after seeing it.

CinemaBlend's Eric Eisenberg described the film as "solid," noting that "the disconnect between the reality of the events and the fictional horror development is problematic," but that there are "no small number of exciting and well-directed scares." And at this point, that may be enough for those of us who are excited to return to the cinema (or save money by watching it on HBO Maxx).

A more positive response came from Fandango's Eric Davis, who described The Conjuring 3 as "featuring a sensational opening sequence and a waterbed scene that rivals any creepy moment in the franchise to date, It was described as "unusually devilish and bone-chilling at every turn.
