Google Pixel6Pro Leak teases Huge Camera Upgrade

The latest Google Pixel 6 leaks have revealed the first look at the base model, as well as the sleek look of the new Pro version and previously unknown specs.

Leaker OnLeaks partnered with 91mobiles and Digit to release rendered images and specs of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, claiming that these rendered images are more accurate than previous leaks by Jon Prosser.

We can see the three-color design again in both rendered images. It is one of the most unique phones we have seen so far this year, especially because of the horizontal bar on the camera.

Two renderings from OnLeaks show the main differences between the two Pixel 6 models: according to Digit, there are three more sensors on the back, the most in Pixel history, with a main sensor and a telephoto sensor; the third is an ultrawide camera, typical We can speculate that it will complete the triple-camera setup of flagship phones.

But these leaks go further: we also know that the Pixel 6 Pro will feature a curved 6.67-inch AMOLED display, breaking the Pixels' screen size record. If you are interested in the exact dimensions, OnLeaks puts this at 6.45 x 3 x 0.35 inches (163.9 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm).

The side bezels of the display are thin, but the top and bottom bezels are clearly thicker. This is apparently due to the dual-firing speakers that Google will include in the Pixel 6 series, somewhat reminiscent of the Pixel 2.

The basic Pixel 6, however, has a 6.4-inch flat display. The device apparently measures 6.2 x 2.9 x 0.35 inches (158.6mm x 74.8mm x 8.9mm), which would still be larger than the current 6-inch Google Pixel 5.

Other leaked information reveals that the Pixel 6 will again feature a wireless charging option. Both models will offer an under-display fingerprint scanner, ditching Google's tried-and-true rear fingerprint sensor, which is visibly missing in the rendered images.

While these leaked specs are excitingly large discrepancies, there are still some key mysteries left unanswered. The most important of these is the Pixel 6's chipset, which old rumors suggest uses a proprietary "Whitechapel" chip design rather than the Qualcomm silicon Google has used in the past. Other details of interest include battery and charging specs, and the refresh rate of the new larger display.

Google has tended to announce its flagship Pixels around September or October, but an official teaser may be released before that. But if you want the phone now, check out the best Android phones for a great Pixel 6 alternative you can buy today.
