Tom Cruise Defends Mission: Impossible 7 Rant

The biggest buzz about "Mission: Mission Impossible 7" was not about what Ethan Hunt was going to do, but the leak of Tom Cruise's rant on the set. For those of you who don't remember, the star and producer was upset with those who didn't follow Covid-19 protocol. And now he is finally talking about it.

Briefly, Starr told "Empire" magazine that he "said what he said" and that "there was a lot at stake at that point." Cruz told "Empire" magazine that the rant was not directed at the entire crew. Instead, it was directed at a "select group of people" he thought were not taking the Covid-19 regulations seriously enough.

You don't remember what Cruz said, because according to the LA Times, Cruz "is on the phone night after night with every studio, including insurance companies and producers. I'm on the phone night after night with every studio, including insurance companies and producers. We're creating thousands of jobs, you son of a bitch."

And it didn't stop there, three more F-bombs were dropped: "I never want to see it again, ever," Cruz said, "and if I see you do it again, you're fired. If any member of this crew does it, that's the end of it... No apologies. Tell that to the people who are losing their homes because this industry is shutting down. I go to bed every night thinking about the future of this industry."

Why did Cruz get to the heart of the matter so much? He claims that he became "very emotional" at the thought of the possibility that production of Mission: Impossible 7 might be delayed: He says he became "very emotional" at the thought of the possibility that production of Impossible 7 might be suspended again. I was very emotional. I was thinking about the people I work with and my industry" - basically a repeat of the audio shot on the set, with no profanity.

Of course, with the new CDC guidance on wearing masks and social distancing, this may not be a reason to upset the set of "Mission: Impossible 7" and its follow-up "M:Mission: Impossible 7" and its follow-up "M:I8." Nevertheless, Tom Cruise seems to have a knack for finding new enemies.

"Mission: Impossible 7" is scheduled for release on November 4: Mission: Impossible 7 is scheduled for release on November 4, 2022, and will be open for 45 days before being released on Paramount Plus. Esai Morales will play the film's big bad, and Cruise will be joined by Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Rebecca Ferguson.
