Google Pixel 6 Leaked. Leaker Jon Prosser has released renderings based on photos he has received of Google's upcoming phone.

Compared to the iPhone 13 (only thicker), which looks like a rehash of the iPhone 12 in previous leaks, the Pixel 6 appears to stand out among all the best Android phones. And not necessarily in all good ways.

We'll talk more about that ridiculous camera hump a bit later, but you'll notice from the images below that the front of the device in question looks very different from the Pixel 5. The selfie cam is centered along the top of the display, and the bezels are narrower than on the current version of the Pixel. The Pixel 6 also has an icon indicating the in-display fingerprint sensor.

According to Prosser, he and his artists also recreated the wallpaper and lock screen, the latter of which is distinct from the current lock screen. So there are some wild changes on the front of the device alone. And look at the back of the phone

Yes, the strange horizontal bar that runs across the width of the phone houses the camera. It looks especially funny how much it sticks out from the body of the phone. On top of that camera housing, you'll notice a third part of the three-color design; it looks like the orange of the Pixel 4 is back.

Not only that, but Prosser claims that Google will not name the larger of the two Pixels "XL" and will instead call the larger Pixel 6 "Pixel 6 Pro."

Frankly, all of this is wildly implausible, and we are a bit skeptical that Google would change its spartan design language so drastically. But Prosser speculates that Google is taking such a drastic approach this year because it plans to introduce its own Whitechapel system-on-chip with the Pixel 6. Perhaps Google wants to make its mark with the first phone to feature its own silicon.

Much more will be said about the Pixel 6 in the coming months, but if this leak is true, it could be huge.
