Nvidia RTX3080Ti leaks again — could arrive within a few days

The impending arrival of Nvidia's latest 3000 series GPU, the Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti, may have been leaked by MSI; MSI's website lists the new card in its product listings between the RTX 3090 and RTX 3080.

Videocardz discovered this online snafu a little earlier today and posted a screenshot that provides evidence of the new card's appearance. The posting has now been removed from the site, but the damage is done, the cat is out of the bag, and we are excited about another new GPU we can't afford.

This is not the first time MSI has been implicated in a leak. Just last week, a photo was posted on Reddit showing off a Geforce RTX 3080i Suprim X GPU from a retail store in Dubai. According to the poster, the card sold for about $3,500, which was, frankly, a shocking amount of money. [The card's MSRP is quite low, falling between the RTX 3090's $1,499 and the RTX 3080's $699. Keep in mind that these prices are absolute fantasies anyway, given the complete lack of inventory. Previous leaks suggested that the RTX 3080 Ti could be around $999 at launch.

The 3080 Ti is rumored to feature 80 GPU clusters, 10,240 Cuda cores, 80 ray-tracing cores, and 320 Tensor cores. If these rumors are correct, the RTX 3080 Ti will have a lower base clock and boost clock than the RTX 3080 at 1365 MHz and 1665 MHz, compared to the RTX 3080's 1440 MHz and 1710 MHz boost. However, it boasts 12 GB of RAM and a 384-bit bus.

The RTX 3070 Ti is also expected to arrive around the same time. These cards should appear in the first two weeks of June, with an announcement from Nvidia in late May. The new Ti cards also have built-in cryptocurrency mining restrictions, designed to discourage people from buying Ti cards to make Ethereum.
