After "Knives Out 2" added one new cast member with a superhero past on Monday, rumors are circulating that another will join the Netflix film.

As reported by Deadline, the sequel to the 2019 surprise hit will feature Edward Norton, best known for his roles in "The Incredible Hulk" (2008) and "Fight Club" (1999). He will likely appear in the film alongside another Marvel actor, "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Dave Bautista, who joined the cast earlier this week.

Netflix has not commented on Norton's casting, so if he has indeed signed on, his role is still unknown. In fact, we don't know much about the film other than the confirmed recurrence of protagonist Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig. Writer/director Rian Johnson had previously stated that the upcoming sequel will feature a new cast. Writer/director Rian Johnson has previously stated that future sequels will feature a new cast

The original "Knives Out" was a well-received mystery film about a detective investigating the death of wealthy mystery novelist Harlan Trombie. The first film featured a stellar cast, including Craig in the lead role, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, and Katherine Langford.

In March, Netflix acquired the rights to the sequel and third installment for $450 million.
