It's almost time to start revving up the engines for "F9: Fast and Furious 9," and a new clip has been released that previews some of the film's action. And the film will be joined by more family members. Yes, the new "Wild Speed" movie could be "F9"; IMDB has titled the film "Fast & Furious 9," but the posters all say "F9." [Only bits and pieces have been teased on social media, such as Vin Diesel announcing the casting of pro wrestler John Cena.

And a new trailer has been released. [As a result of Paramount pushing back the release date of "Top Gun," "F9" will now be released on June 25: previously, it was May 28, 2021, and before that, May 22, 2020. Hopefully this will be the last release date.

As for future "Wild Speed" films, director Justin Lin is willing to try any wild idea; in an interview with Collider, when asked about a possible crossover with "Jurassic World," Lin said, "Never say never to anything. But yes, your eyes are not deceiving you: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jason Statham just appeared in the "Wild Speed" series: No Hobbs & Shaw. Sad for us, too. Any good news? Sung Kang is back as Han Lu.

Also, "Fast & Furious 9" will feature "The Suicide Squad" co-star John Cena. Vin Diesel announced Cena's appearance on Instagram.

Rolling R's queen Cardi B will play a character named Raysa from Dom's past. According to a recent interview, the rapper (who also appeared in "Hustlers") got the role after being told she should be cast as Vin Diesel's daughter.

On the red carpet, Cardi told reporters that she only had a small role.

This is odd: IMDb gives "F9" a running time of 145 minutes (2 hours and 25 minutes), but for some reason Google gives it 3 hours and 8 minutes. Google recently made a similar mistake with a very long running time for "Godzilla vs. Kong," so I'll trust IMDb on this one.
