The Star Wars Biome and vehicle Flythroughs are the perfect stay treat for May 4

Disney Plus is offering a way to travel through a galaxy far, far away on Star Wars Day using your cell phone or tablet. Disney Plus just released three new videos (two are "Star Wars: Vehicle Flythroughs" and one is "Star Wars Biomes") that offer interplanetary tranquility this past May 4.

"Biomes" takes us on an intergalactic tour that begins on a wintery, mixed Hoth, with droids flying around, lasers blasting, and AT-AT walkers visible in the distance; Disney Plus does not provide credit for these clips, but John Williams' epic score (or something similar) sure sounds like it's playing quietly in the background.

Then, soaring through the desert of Tatooine, a Tusken Raider rides a bantha over the hills and approaches a sandcrawler. Don't worry, the Javans won't rob your TV or streaming device for spare parts. The moment when the Landspeeder runs in front of you is also a highlight.

The best part of the "Star Wars: Biomes" series is arguably the most bizarre angle shot, a bird's eye view of the red salt planet Kratos (via "The Last Jedi"). This way, in addition to the geometric patterns created by stepping on the ground, we can look down on the First Order vehicles from above.

However, fans of the Millennium Falcon and Stardestroyer will want to open Star Wars: Vehicle Flythroughs. It makes the visuals of the Stardestroyer all the more eerie. You don't think they're here, do you?

These videos are so cool, I wish Disney Plus had a way to "repeat" videos or create playlists. The first 75-minute episode has just been released, and a second (shorter) episode will be released on Friday.

Disney Parks also just released a new visual of a moving lightsaber with rays extending out, complete with sound effects. This will be a key part of the 2022 Star Wars Hotel experience.

And if you're looking for a fun way to relax and geek out, we found more Star Wars Legos than you can shake a dark saber at.
