Marvel has announced the title for Black Panther 2: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This comes as the cherry on top in a video just posted to fuel audiences' desire to return to the cinema, titled "Marvel Studios Celebrates The Movies."

Marvel's official announcement about "Black Panther 2" is skimpy on details, saying, "Written and directed by Ryan Coogler, the sequel to the history-making 'Black Panther' will explore the incomparable world of Wakanda."

We also got another new title: "Captain Marvel 2," which is officially "The Marvels"; at Marvel.com, the studio details that "Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) will be joined by Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau) and Iman Verani ( Kamala Khan) will be joining them," it detailed.

The trailer also gave us some new release dates: February 17, 2023 for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantamania and May 5, 2023 for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (which was rumored beforehand).

Marvel's sizzle reel is a history of the MCU (Iron Man just turned 13!) ), but quickly moves on from the big "Endgame" moment to what follows. Of course, the audience reaction segment moments of "Endgame" make you wonder when you'll feel comfortable returning to the cinema.

Then there is a teaser for "Black Widow" (July 9, 2021), which looks like new footage of the cast shooting and blowing stuff up. This is followed by footage of Akwafina and Sim Liu in "The Legend of Shang Ki and the Ten Rings" (September 3, 2021).

Then comes the big news moment. It begins with the premiere of Chloe Chao's Eternals (November 5, 2021), which we don't have all the details on, but is cool enough to get us excited.

Then more release dates and title cards we knew about, including "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (December 17, 2021), "Doctor Strange: The Madness Multiverse" (March 25, 2022), "Thor: Love & Thunder" (May 6, 2022)

Then came the big news: "Black Panther 2" is officially "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," opening July 8, 2022. Details about the film are sparse, but speculation is rife that Shuri (Letitia Wright) will be the new Black Panther. Director Ryan Coogler has stressed that T'Challa will not be recast and the late Chadwick Boseman will not be digitally inserted. Coogler is also working on an undecided Disney Plus show set in Wakanda.
